HAKİM (Animal Rights Watch Committee) released a statement regarding World Animal Day.

From their statement: “We won’t celebrate World Animal Day while animals are routinely tortured in slaughterhouses, shelters, production facilities, testing laboratories, zoos, dolphin parks, aquariums, circuses, pet-shops, animal fights, fur facilities, animal importation.”
