He Turned a Field, Which He Inherited from His Father, into a Rehab Center for Animals
24 Temmuz 2018
Kemal Basat (38) turned 220 acres of field in Northern Cyprus, which he inherited from his father in 2014, into a rehabilitation center for wildlife animals.
He and his friends save lives of animals without expecting any profit.
Wounded wild animals receive treatment and are left into their natural habitat later on. Basat’s aim is to contribute to nature, humans and children.
The park includes a wildlife rehabilitation center and a picnic area. Additional projects are ongoing.
25 people work in the center. There is also a wildlife support line, 1190. Wounded and sick animals are brought the center upon calls of citizens and are brought back to their natural habitat after the treatment.
