Deadline for Applications to 3rd Short Film Competition of Sabancı Foundation is November 16

Applications for the 3rd Short Film Competition of Sabancı Foundation have started. This year’s theme is “discrimination”. Deadline for applications in November 16, 2018.  

Applicant films must be 5 minutes max and about discrimination. Films will be evaluated by a pre-festival jury first, and then 10 to 15 films at most will be evaluated again.

The director or producer (at least one of them) of the films should be a Turkish citizen or a citizen of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. A person can apply with more than one film, but the films should not have been screened or awarded before. There should be no feature film of the directors that they shot before, as well.

The winning work which presents the discrimination problem in the best and most creative way, in accordance with the criteria, will receive 15,000 Turkish Liras; second place will get 10,000 Turkish Liras while third will get 5,000 Turkish Liras.
