University Students Are Advised to Be a Part of Civil Society Studies

Deputy President of MEF University Prof Erhan Erkut advises university students to be a part of voluntary studies in Civil Society Organizations.

Erkut helps students about their university choices via his social media account. He encourages entrepreneurship and being a part of business life from the first years of university. He says that although private sector comes first to mind when talking about work or internship; student groups, start-ups, enterprise clubs and CSOs are more valuable. “We always talk about democracy and economy. Five part of democracy is press, law, independent economy, free market and civil society. The latest is the weakest in Turkey. Therefore, I advise students to do voluntary works in CSOs to have a productive student life,” he indicates.
