“Those Who Fight with Nature Cannot Make Peace with Human-beings”

Federation of Dersim Associations (DEDEF) protested forest fires in Dersim with a press release.

Ali Haydar Ben, the President of DEDEF, said: “Forest fires caused by natural causes make only 3 percent of all forest fires. For many years, forests of Dersim have been destroyed by so-called “fight against terrorism”. It is a very sad situation that nature is being made a part of war. We repeat once more: those who fight with nature cannot make peace with humans.”
