Silopi thermal power plant in Şırnak threatens public health and natural assets.Cases of cancer, cardiac diseases and miscarriages have increased dramatically over the years.

Citizens react by claiming that the plant does not have a proper filter system and not controlled regularly. They demand either its closure or proper control.
