Recycling your waste adds units to your “Istanbulkart”

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality takes action to encourage recycling.

İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality will put 100 mobile recycling automats to different spots of the city. These “smart mobile recycling automots” will value the waste such as paper, metal, plastics and add as much unit to “Istanbulkart”, which is used for domestic transportation.

Shreded waste will be stored and then delivered to recycling companies.

The project is planned to start in 2018.
